Find the Warmth: 20+ Spring Dates in CLT

*We are currently monitoring all events for cancellations. Please call ahead and check social media

Charlotte is in need of some warmth. Pronto. These long winter days have us popping Vitamin D and ordering light lamps on Prime.

We must stop the madness and pull ourselves together. Time to get dressed and go out. A date — casual or not — could potentially be the only thing to conjure that Spring awakening. We have needs after all.

Stop waiting. Here’s how to create your own warmth in Charlotte:

Trying to follow what little sun there is? Lunch and vino on the Corkbuzz patio gives us the opportunity. Map it all out and you’ll find your way. We always do.

Girls gotta eat? We say girls gotta travel. The Sanctuary is the hotspot for the weekend date. Venture down with the one who knows to make reservations. Wander on that beach.

Game night for two? Get locked up at Exit Strategy. Whoever makes it out deserves all the heat she can handle. Keep the games going.

Or slow things down to keep the heat sweet at Wing Haven’s Culture Day. Follow the sun but appreciate the shade. And the BBQ.

Yearning for a little closeness? Soul line dancing brings it all together. All Spring long. Just like we like it.

You know who also needs Botox? Your man. Trust us and make an adjoining appointment at Graper Harper Cosmetics. He doesn’t realize how smooth he’s gonna look on that next telepresence. That’s hot.

Some time periods are worth revisiting. The Downton Abbey Exhibit at The Biltmore has come. Feel it all again. Be a Lord and Lady. (We’re going for the fashion if nothing else.)

Make it a family affair with An Evening with the Cousteaus at Queens University. Appreciation for what’s meant to be continued. Keep it going.

See where you stand as you move into warmer months with a tarot reading. Lay it all out. Take a good look. Sometimes a different perspective is telling.

Anniversary date spots can be predictable. Head that nonsense off at the word fancy and rise to the top. The 4th floor exhibit at The Bechtler is celebrating the big TEN. Let’s learn something.

Have something to say? Voice it all with some recording studio time. See what kind of music you can create together at Charlotte Star Room.

Celebrate 10 years of diversity in Charlotte film and music on April 23rd. Red carpet ready and go — fancy dress kinda date night.

*CANCELLED EVENT* A local mama? Oh, yes. See Brit Drozda at Amos’ Southend and be casual chic while nursing that pale ale. Those really good jeans are ready for this.

Wine pairings are expert level at The NcNicnch House Restaurant. Be prepared for full-service. Before and probably after. Salute!

*POSTPONED* To celebrate a new book is absolutely (date)time well spent. Main Street Books in Davidson presents, An Evening With Jeff Sharlet, March 16. Get nerdy and embrace the words on the page.

Need to pump up the date energy? Our favorite kinda date has us doing something to make ourselves feel all the feels. A Vit-B drip for 2 has us perky and ready. For anything.

Need to keep it casual but with extra cuddles? Bring your pups for a day date at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens for Pups and Perennials. One day only. Splendor in the grass?

Music outlines history. Go for the dark cabaret date on April 1st at the Mint. We are intrigued and always looking for the meaning. Aren’t we?

Aprons to protect our cute date outfit? Hand it over. Explore food with Chef Luca at Forchetta at his upcoming event. Three courses with wine pairing. Pair up indeed.

Teach a woman to make a good craft cocktail — she’s happy forever. Sign up for a Liberate your Palate class and learn a few new tricks. Date for the drinks.

It’s been said before and we’ll say it again: art is love. That makes an art show where we go to watch it come alive. Be present at the upcoming Whitney Stoddard show at the Shain Gallery.

Oh, our hearts.

Too many ideas to choose from? Never. Squeeze them all in. As we do.
