Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Reopens
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden will reopen to members only on Thursday, May 28. Reserve a free ticket online before heading to the garden so staff can monitor attendance levels. Learn more about garden membership here.
Grab Some Donuts ~ at a Brewery
Free Range Brewing offers pick-up for @yourmoms_donuts on Mondays by 10pm for Wednesday pick up & by 10pm Thursday for Saturday pick up. Visit www.yourmomsdonutsnc.com and choose the N. Davidson location in the pick up options. The brewery is also offering grocery pick up via @freshlistclt www.freshlist.com. Get your orders in by 3pm Tuesday for Saturday pick up.
Oakhurst Mess Market
Head to the Oakhurst neighborhood to shop produce, groceries, flowers, pantry staples and more, all socially distanced. Find it at 4431 Monroe Road.
The Quarry at Carrigan Farms opens for swimming
Open swim at The Quarry is now open. Take the family and be sure to read the facility’s updated operating guidelines before planning your trip. Take an Art Walk through Historic South End

Renfrow hardware is now open Tuesdays – Fridays, 8am – 4:30pm, until further notice. Closed Saturdays – Mondays. (with reduced staff, they cannot adequately handle the level of Saturday crowds so made the difficult decision to remain closed on Saturdays at this time). Back parking lot & back door will also be open. Their back warehouse room and restroom will be closed off, but the greenhouse and 3 main hardware rooms are all accessible.

Visit Uptown’s Socially Distanced Farmer’s Market
Stock up on essentials at Uptown’s socially distanced farmer’s market, each Saturday from 8 am – 12:30 pm. The market takes safety seriously, with hand-washing stations, spaced out vendors, masks and social distancing guidelines for visitors. Find the market at 300 S. Davidson Street.

Virtual Keep Pounding 5K
Through May 30
This year, participants can lace up at home any time between May 23 and 30 for the Keep Pounding 5K, benefitting the Levine Cancer Institute and Levine Children’s Hospital. Times can be submitted by taking a picture of your watch, phone, or other personal timing device and uploading it online.
