Even the Booty is thrown for a loop this year. (couldn’t resist, sorry). For safety during coronavirus, 24 Foundation is converting their annual in-person ride & event into a virtually-connected, small group, UnLooped experience, on July 24th and 25th.
UnLooped is for all ages and can include anyone from around the world.
Still in the planning stages, and no doubt up to the creative inspiration of those who participate, the virtual 24 Hours of Booty will incorporate live streaming and virtual events to engage with participants during the 24-hour period. Stay tuned and support the event by REGISTERING for $25 here.
Participants are encouraged to do things like set up a tent and camp in their backyard; watch a virtual survivors’ lap in coordination with Hendrick Porsche; head out for a ride, walk, run etc. during the event ~ while social distancing; put out luminaries in honor and memory of those impacted by cancer; share photos and videos during the event; and more.
Your $25 registration includes an event T-shirt and supports the cause. There is no fundraising minimum to participate, but fundraising is encouraged to support 24 Foundation’s cancer beneficiary partners. Since its inception in 2002, 24 Foundation has raised nearly $21 million to support cancer navigation and survivorship programs through local and national beneficiaries. You’ll find an at-a-glance look at current beneficiaries here.
The organization still hopes to celebrate in-person on Saturday, October 17th. depending on CDC and state guidelines for safe gathering. Visit the website FAQ for more info re: this year’s Unlooped event.
