The gardens at The Duke Mansion are back open, and there’s a delicious new way to enjoy them. Pre-order a charcuterie plate and wine, pick up at the front desk then stake out the perfect spot in the garden to enjoy it. Charcuterie is $28 and wine selections start at $35. Order by 5 pm the day before and pick-up at the front desk any time after 4 pm.

Make plans for brunch at Sophia’s Lounge

Make reservations to enjoy the new brunch menu at Sophia’s Lounge, featuring everything from farm fresh ingredients, seasonal delights and classic favorites. Highlights include Mimosa Flight and Sangria Carafe, Crab Cakes and Poached Farm Eggs, the Queen’s Breakfast with Harmony Ridge Farm eggs, Neuske’s bacon, home fries, charred tomatoes and an English muffin and Yellowfin Tuna Sushi Tots with crispy sushi rice, sriracha aioli, toasted sesame seets, unagi and nori.

Sy Smith featuring Rhythm 4U
Middle C Jazz | 7 pm

Pop-up Summer Meets Autumn Dinner

Get ready for fall with this pop-up dinner from Roots Cafe. The four-course meal highlights tomatoes, beets, duck and apples. Beer, Wine, and Cocktails will be available for purchase. $50 per person.

Music on the Lawn
August 20 | Anne Springs Close Greenway | 6:30 pm

Head to the Anne Springs Close Greenway to enjoy live music each Thursday from August 6 – October 22. The Gateway Canteen will be open for full dining and bar service. Free to members and $6 for non-members. Parking is $5 per car.

Untethered: Video Performance Installation
August 21 | Goodyear Arts | 7 pm

Head to the porch at Goodyear Arts to see the “Untethered” Video Performance Installation by Dennissa Young with music by Dylan Gilbert. The video installation will be on loop from 7pm till 9pm, so come and go as you please. They’ll also be taking cash donations for Charlotte Uprising and various donations for Charlotte Jail Support. This event is free and open to the public, and will also include free beer.

Mecktoberfest Märzen Lager Release
August 21-23 | The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery

OMB is celebrating the release of their world-renowned Mecktoberfest lager with pours available inside and outside and a weekend-long live music schedule.

Yoga-Rita’s for Summer

In Huntersville, Que Onda Cantina will host socially distanced Slow Flowing yoga on the patio. Stick around for a margarita after class. $15 for yoga and a margarita.

Butterfly Walk and Talk
