VENTURING OUT

Visit the new Petty Thieves Brewing Co.

Head to Charlotte’s newest brewery for custom half and full-liter steins and tastes of 11 different beers. Find them at 413 Dalton Ave Suite B.

OMB’s 12th Annual Mecktoberfest

OMB’s weekend-long Octoberfest celebration includes their Mecktoberfest Märzen Lager, live music, pretzels, lederhosen, sausages, dirndls, bier-filled steins and the popular das boot.

Ballantyne Drive-In Movie Series: The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)
Sept. 25 | 6 pm

On the last Friday of each month, head to Ballantyne for a drive-in movie. This time, it’s a screening of The BFG on the big screen. Registration is required and admission is $30 per vehicle. All proceeds benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

Free orders at Harriet’s Hamburgers
Sept. 21-25 | Optimist Hall

To kick-off in-person ordering at the Optimist Hall stand, the Harriet’s Hamburgers crew will select 5 random ticket numbers at the beginning of each day, and those tickets will be free, no matter how large or small. Also, the secret menu item, the Jucy Lucy, is available to order now.

Charlotte Motor Speedway Drive-in Series
Sept. 25 | 8:30 pm

Charlotte Motor Speedway’s drive-in concert series will go through fall, and kick-off with performances from Chris Janson and Mitchell Tenpenny this weekend. Ticket prices begin at $130 per car.

What I Did Last Summer – Outdoor Performances
Sept. 24-27 | Theatre Charlotte

Experience a live performance of What I Did Last Summer in the Theatre Charlotte parking lot. Tickets are general admission.

Sept. 25 | 6 pm

Greenway members can enjoy live music by Savannah Harmon and a full menu from The Canteen at the next Greenway Gateway Sunset Sessions.

Sound on the Square: Jason Jet

Sounds on the Square is back with clean comedy from Christian Johnson followed by music from Jason Jet, and socially distanced seating. A live stream of these events will also be shared on their Facebook page.

Sidewalk Shakespeare

This Saturday, visit any participating Old Town business and listen to a short Shakespearean scene on the sidewalk. After the performance, step inside to receive a special discount.
