Head to Hunter Farms any day of the week for a tractor pulled wagon ride to the milk barn, petting barn where you can feed the animals, and their pumpkin patch.

Due to COVID, the fall season will be by reservation only, MOSTLY SOLD OUT and only limited times are available at this point. Saturdays & Sundays are completely full until Halloween weekend. Friday has a little more availability with spots on 10/23 and 10/30. Thursdays (no pizza) are almost filled in the late afternoon/early evening. There are still mid-day time spots on Thursdays for the entire month. Hoping to add more late afternoon/early evening spots soon but need to get spring strawberries planted before they can post dates.

Cherry Place Farm ROCK HILL

Only open on the weekends in October, Saturdays 10am-6pm and Sundays 1-6pm.

Admission is $8 per person (for everyone ages 2 and up). That includes the cornmaze, hayrides, feeding the animals, a baby pumpkin, and popcorn.  Carving sized pumpkins are available for purchase at $8 a piece.

We will have pick your own pumpkins Monday-Saturday 8:00-5:00. We will not have hayrides this year due to COVID-19. We also have a 1 mile hiking trail that gives you a self guided tour around the farm.

Bush-N-Vine farm has been in the Hall family for over 150 years. They are a certified SC grown farm, growing produce and raising Angus steers. For pumpkin picking, don’t forget your sneakers and a picnic lunch.

Carrigan Farms MOORESVILLE

October 1 through October 30 RESERVATIONS REQUIRED (see below)

Reservations are required for pumpkin picking. Please visit the website to make a reservation. When you click on the reservation link you will see dates posted through October 16, 2020. As we evaluate the pumpkin crop we plan to post more dates, pending the crop’savailability. If a date thorough October 16, 2020 is not showing up, that is because it is sold out.

Carrigan Farms’ pumpkin patches are open the entire month of October with shuttles back and forth to the patch every day. The cost is $12.00 per person for everyone ages 2 and older. Young babies 23 months and under are free; however, they do not get a pumpkin. A $2 per person, non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your appointment and the remaining $10 per person is due at the door. 

On the educational transport shuttle back and forth to the pumpkin patch, each person will need to wear a mask. We also ask that you wear a mask whenever you are unable to social distance while you are at the farm.

  • Both the admission and the food truck accept cash or check only.
  • Credit and debit cards are not accepted. 
  • The ground in the pumpkin patch is uneven which makes it difficult to push strollers around, so we do not suggest bringing a stroller to visit the pumpkin patch.
  • Please do not bring pets or dogs with you to the farm.

Currently, admission includes the barnyard, Pawpaw Carl’s playground, corn maize, visiting the pumpkin patch, and many other activities! Hayrides are operating at a reduced capacity and are weather permitting.**Pumpkins are not included in the admission price.  A wide assortment of pumpkins is available for purchase, Carving Pumpkins are $0.49 per lb. and Novelty are $0.99 per lb.

Mask Policy:
We require guests to wear masks when checking in, shopping in our market or purchasing items from staff members, visiting our barnyard, and using the public restrooms. Masks and social distancing are also REQUIRED to ride the hayride. When visiting around the farm, please also wear your mask if you are within 6 feet of others not in your household. We reserve the right to limit the number of people in certain areas to help with social distancing.

The above policy applies to ages 5 and up old per the governor’s orders.

Millstone Creek Orchards – RAMSEUR NC

The only way to go pumpkin picking at Millstone this year will be through their online reservation system (access at the link above) and admission is required to go pumpkin picking. Reservations must be made 12 hours in advance of your visit as there will be no same day online reservations.

Their Pumpkin adventure admission includes:

  • An Orchard adventure focused on pumpkins and pumpkin picking
  • Access to all u-pick pumpkin fields
  • $3 off coupon (per paid ticket) for your choice of pumpkin
  • An Orchard hayride to u-pick locations (masks required on hayride at all times, not required for kids 11 & under)
    • We have decreased hayride occupancy by 50% for the safety of our guests.
    • The hayride is the only way to access the pumpkin patch – no walking permitted
  • 3 ounce apple cider slushie after pumpkin picking

Each pumpkin picking adventure is offered on the half hour and must be reserved in advance as we limit the amount of guests at once.
