The Buttercup Shop on Providence Rd has been a Myers Park shopping destination for generations of Charlotte women looking for a wide selection of gifts, pretty party supplies, and uniquely Southern brands and creations. Many of us have spent hours perusing the upstairs stationery, announcements & invites, or dashing in the downstairs for the perfect last minute gift. New-ish owner Kim Gordon has expanded the store’s fashion and jewelry selection and brought in several vendors you won’t find anywhere else in Charlotte. And kept the years’ long traditions of pop up Silhouette and Portrait events (once stores can host events again) which are mostly just insta shared and sell out quickly so FOLLOW here.
We shopped the Buttercup this week to see what’s new, and found, as always, so much cheer for everything coming up this spring.
