BLT Steak

The Scoop: The steakhouse is typically only open for dinner, but they’re making an exception for moms. Join them from noon-10 p.m. for either brunch or dinner. Mom will be treated to roses and a glass of rosé.
Bulla Gastrobar

The Scoop: Bulla will be open for brunch on Mother’s Day, and Mom will receive a $20 gift card to use next time. Plus, they’ll offer an exclusive paella menu for dinner and a box of chocolate clusters. How sweet!
Crepe Cellar

The Scoop: Crepe Cellar will offer a special dish during their Sunday brunch on May 9th. The Smoked Salmon Florentine features poached egg over smoked salmon and spinach on a buttermilk biscuit with béarnaise and sunflower sprouts. “Momosas” will also be on tap (passion fruit syrup, splash of lime juice, edible flower.)
Fahrenheit

The Scoop: Get fancy with best view of Uptown on May 9th. Fahrenheit will host a family-style brunch from 10 a.m.-6 pm. ($16/kid and $55/adult.)
Fin & Fino

The Scoop: This Uptown seafood restaurant is offering a three-course lunch or dinner from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Kids 12 and under are $25 and adults are $55.

The Scoop: Harper’s is celebrating Mom’s Day in several ways. For brunch, enjoy mimosas or bellinis plus bacon and tomato quiche and brunch pizza. For dine-in dinner, feast on a petite filet and hickory grilled shrimp. Or, if you’re eating at home, order the takeout feature for $99 (includes items like shrimp cocktail, petite filets, crab cakes and veggies.)
Harry’s Grille & Tavern

The Scoop: Visit this Steele Creek neighborhood favorite for brunch (we hear the Monte Cristo is amazing) from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Live music will be flowing from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Mama Ricotta’s

The Scoop: Head to Mama’s with your mama for brunch from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The menu includes dishes like a Ham and Fontina Omelet, Giant Cinnamon Roll and Spinach and Prosciutto Quiche. The dinner menu will be served all day, so look for these two features starting at 10 a.m.: fresh N.C. shrimp with fettuccini and lemon cream sauce and a vanilla sponge cake with raspberry jam. (Note: Pizza will not be available until after 2:30 p.m.)

The Scoop: The Waterman will offer its standard brunch menu on Mother’s Day with the addition of a special feature: two waffles with sugar pearls and a deep fried lobster tail topped with blackberry-bourbon-basil syrup for $25. Whoa.
