21 Ways to Get Back to Uptown This Spring & Summer

Looking for something new to do? See some new sights and visit a new city? No need to head to Charleston or Savannah (not that there’s anything wrong with that 🙂 ) our fair Queen City has plenty to see & do Uptown to keep your weekends full for weeks.

Here are 21 ideas of how to show up for Uptown in 2021. How many can you mark off the list now that you’re fully vaxed?

  1. Rediscover the stories of Uptown on a self-guided tour through the city, or book a guided tour with local experts from Charlotte NC ToursC-Charlotte ToursQueen City Rides or Funny Bus City Comedy Tour.

Enjoy outdoor dining with a city view at one of Uptown’s top restaurant patios and rooftops, or eat in the open air at one of the Uptown Street Eats events or at the limited-time pop-up outdoor seating that’s part of the Streetery Program on the Levine Avenue of the Arts. Levine Avenue, from Tryon to Church Street, is closed until June for the Streetery Program, allowing you to grab a bite to eat, enjoy the outdoor seating and the string lights before exploring more of Uptown.The set-up for outdoor dining will be available day and evening.
