Twenty Degrees Chocolates
At Twenty Degrees, owner Casey Hickey and her team create chocolates and confections by hand in small batches using premium ingredients like Valrhona French couverture chocolate, sweet cream, European-style butter, and locally sourced fresh herbs and fruit whenever possible. Their goal is to develop flavor combinations to comfort or surprise you and if they can bring a smile (or better yet, a sigh!) to your lips, they’ve done their job.
Why the name “Twenty Degrees”
Chocolate comes from the fruit of the cacao tree, which only grows within 20 degrees of the equator. Casey chose the company’s name to convey how precious chocolate is, and to remind us that it is, at its core, an agricultural product with a very limited growing region.
– Banoffee: Banana + coffee ganaches + Dulcey-toffee crunch
– Ginger Tea: Ginger tea + fresh ginger + lemon-infused ganache
– Dirty Chai: Chai tea ganache + latte ganache
– Pumpkin Spice Latte: Latte ganache + our own pumpkin spice blend
– Matcha-Raspberry: Japanese Matcha tea ganache studded with dried raspberries + capped with raspberry Inspiration
– Apple Tarte Tatin – Spiced Granny Smith apple caramel + crunchy crepe crust
– Vanilla Peanut Crunch – Silky vanilla bean caramel + peanut praline crunch
– Caramel Pepita Praline – Salted chocolate caramel + pepita praline
– Tex-Mex – Spicy soft caramel + pecan praline
It’s a perfect birthday gift filled with the flavors and colors of autumn.
An homage to Casey’s Southern roots, old school Southern ingredients combine to create a wonderfully complex caramel sauce. Sweet sorghum syrup, Kentucky straight bourbon, heavy cream and European-style butter are slow-cooked and lovingly hand-stirred to a deep, dark sauce. It’s like no other caramel sauce you’ve tried. Enjoy it on ice cream, pies and tarts, or fresh pears. Drizzle it over a soft, mild cheese. Brush it on roast pork, ribs or duck for an insane glaze. Or, just eat it right off the spoon when no one’s looking ~ it’s the perfect birthday gift too!
Artisan confections made in the European tradition, crafted in small batches with attention and care.
