Local Holiday Markets This Weekend

Black Friday

Charlotte Christmas Village is back. This European-inspired market located in Charlotte’s Uptown has again joined with Light the Knights at Truist Field. Opens 11/24 on, from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets here = before 5pm, tickets are $5, After 5pm tickets are $10. One ticket gets you both the village and Light the Knights.

VTGCLT is also back in Midtown as a seasonal pop up shop featuring handmade and vintage wares from 90+ of the best local and regional creatives⁣. DATES / HOURS ~ between November 12 – December 9⁣ open weekends only Friday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. ⁣

Brewery Markets Abound and We Agree Beer while Black Friday Shopping is Better

• D9 Brewing Uptown is hosting a Starving Artist Market Black Friday Popup starting at noon.

• Maker’s Market CLT is popping up at several spots, including Blue Blaze Brewing in town and Royal Bliss in LKN

• And Olde Meck has their Christmas Market going every weekend, deets here. They transform the biergarten into a German-style Christmas Village with traditional huts for shopping, holiday music, tons of lights, Gluhwein (our spiced wine pronounced “Gloo-vine,”) hot cocoa, festive food, warm fire pits, and of course there will be plenty of beer, including seasonal favorites Yule Bock and Dunkel.

While Small Business Saturday is officially November 27, the folks at South End Charlotte have devised a way for us to be able to enjoy this annual shopping event and support Charlotte’s small business community for FOUR Shop Small Saturdays this season. So if you’re traveling for Thanksgiving or have company at your house who would rather watch football, then you have 3 other Saturdays to Shop Small and Support. On this Saturday, November 27th you’ll find:
