Over 25 Under 40? Head to Broken Promises
I mean you can go no matter how many years over 25 you are, but this brand new South End hot spot is not open to those under 25. Dark, moody, self-absorbed in a good way, this new cocktail bar features drinks from QC fave Bob Peters, a rotation of DJs on evenings, and no cover. Get there before it gets too popular.

Don’t Miss The World of Anna Sui at the Mint Randolph only through May 1st.
This fashion-is-art exhibit is a must for any Charlotte woman who loves style, fashion design, pop culture, “more is more”, and BOOTS. The exhibit presents 100 looks from the iconic designer’s archive, channeling Sui’s stories head-to-toe about the worlds of cowgirls, grunge girls, hippie chicks, hula girls, Mods, pirate rock stars, Pre-Raphaelite maidens, and surfer nomads. You can get really up close to see the intricate detail of her fabrics and accessories, and you will see some of the most amazing boots you’ll ever lay eyes on.
Love Loss and What I Wore April 2 – 10 at Various Venues. More Here.
The Ephron sisters just speak to us, almost in our own words. (I mean, I do feel bad about my neck). The performance will take you on a poignant journey through the heartbreak and the joy of so many women’s shared experiences, covering everything from the mortification of bra-buying to poorly-chosen prom dresses, bad lighting in fitting rooms, finding the right boots and high heels, wearing short skirts, and that chronic and seemingly unavoidable conundrum — having nothing to wear. It’s a good one girls.
