To make your decision a little easier, we did the hard work and ventured out to find the best spots to spend your lunch break this month.

Fern, Flavors from the Garden (Dilworth)

Lunch hours: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Order: We love their take on a burger, made with a mushroom patty, cheddar,
shiitake bacon, just egg, lettuce, and fancy sauce. Another one of our favorites is the Japanese Katsu Curry with spaghetti squash, bok choy, shiitake mushroom, and sweet potato.
The scoop: For vegan and vegetarian options, this spot is a go-to. Choose from a variety of small plates and entrees that are not only healthy but delicious.
ACE No. 3 (Various)
Belmont Village, Myers Park, Concord Mills
Lunch hours: Open 11 a.m.
Order: Burgers and shakes for lunch, what can be better? The menu at ACE is simple, but the food is delicious. Build your own burger with all of your favorite toppings, or order their signature “Ace” burger, with two 1/4 chuck blend patties, American cheese, grilled onions, house-made pickles, Comeback sauce, all on a brioche bun.
The scoop: Easy parking, fast service, and a to-go option makes ACE No. 3 a to-go for quick, casual lunches.
Angeline’s (Uptown)
303 S Church St.
Lunch hours: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Order: Three-course lunch for $25.
The scoop: Enjoy a three-course lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 2:30 p.m. for $25 at this Uptown hotspot. Angeline’s prix-fixe “Power Lunch” menu features four or five choices for your first and second courses and the Chef’s Daily Truffle for dessert.
La Belle Helene (Uptown)

Lunch hours: Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Order: We can’t get enough of the Le Steak Burger, Steak Frites, Turkey Sandwich offered for lunch at La Belle Helene.
The scoop: The elegant French atmosphere makes this spot a favorite on our list.
Sea Level (Uptown)
129 E 5th St.
Lunch hours: Open at 11:30 a.m.
Order: Craving seafood? Head Uptown to Sea Level for a hearty amount of options such as lobster rolls, oysters, and shrimp and grits. Non-seafood lovers, don’t fret — they also offer land favorites including sandwiches and salads to please any kind of eater.
The scoop: If you can squeeze in a late lunch, their $1.50 Oyster Happy Hour runs Mon through Fri from 2-6 p.m.
Village Tavern (SouthPark)
4201 Congress St.
Lunch hours: Open 11 a.m. Friday & Saturday, 10 a.m. Sunday
Order: Their soup and sandwich (or salad) combo make for an easy lunch. Choose from a half chicken club sandwich and bowl of soup, or soup and your choice of appetizer salad, at a special price.
The scoop: Their lunch menu has a variety of dishes including soups, salads, luncheon entrees, pizza, and their prime rib – only available Friday through Sunday.
Napa on Providence & Napa at Kingsley (Myers Park & Fort Mill)

Lunch hours: Open Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m
Order: So many delicious options to choose from. Our favorites include the Roasted Brussels Flatbread (brussels sprout, roasted apple, smoked bacon, pecan, gorgonzola & cheddar cheese) Mushroom Raviolo (roasted mushroom & black truffle, sage-brown butter, herb salad) and a classic steak burger (white cheddar, caramelized onions, smoked applewood bacon, tomato, greens, garlic aioli, brioche bun).

The Waterman Fish Bar

Order: The Sweet Tea Chicken Salad with sweet tea brined, house-made pickles, white cheddar, honey dijon, brioche bun, crispy herb fries. Or opt for our personal favorite, the pan-fried NC mountain trout — cornmeal crusted, with charred broccolini, blue crab, and lemon butter.
The scoop: Head to The Pump House for lunch with a view. This multi-level, riverfront restaurant boasts an extensive southern-inspired lunch menu that is perfect for a working lunch.

Kid Cashew

Lunch hours: Open at 11 a.m.
Order: Cast iron mac & cheese with the half chicken avocado sandwich (part of their pick-two deal).
The scoop: Kid Cashew offers a pick-two lunch special for $10.95 on weekdays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Expect easy onsite parking with the option to dine inside or al fresco.

Order: The shaved ribeye on charred garlic bread (Emmentaler Swiss, Cherry Peppers, Au Jus) or the truffled grilled cheese on Artisan sourdough. Yum.
The scoop: Ladies who lunch, you need to make a note about this glamorous rooftop restaurant. Located in Phillips Place, RH makes for an upscale lunch surrounded by stunning chandeliers and fountains. Make your reservations here.
Optimist Hall

Lunch hours: Open weekdays 7 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Order: So many options to choose from — burgers and fries, sushi, pizza, tacos, dumplings, grilled cheese… you name it, they have it.
The scoop: Optimist Hall has a new parking system in effect to be aware of on your lunch break. The first hour and a half is free, anything after that under three hours is $5, over three hours is $18.
The Market at 7th St

Order: A variety of vendors can be found at The Market at 7th St, including one of our favorites for seafood, Jimmy Pearls. You can also find a pizza joint, Asian fusion, sandwiches, tacos, pasta, sweets, and more.
The scoop: Visit here for an easy lunch with convenient parking at 7th Street Station Parking Garage.

The scoop: Newer to Charlotte, Emmy Squared is a great place to stop during work if you’re wanting pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and more.
