Dancing With The Stars of Charlotte – Dancing For A Cause
Friday, February 10, 7:30p
Head to the Knight Theater for a night filled with excitement, glitz, and dancing, all for a good cause. Local stars will be paired with professional dancers, and perform ballroom dance numbers that are scored by judges from the competitive dance world while audience members vote for their favorite star by making donations which will help those in Charlotte living with breast cancer. Each dollar donated is equivalent to one vote. At the end of the night, a mirror ball trophy is given to the top fundraiser, the biggest crowd-pleaser, and the highest-scoring dancer.

Picasso Landscapes: Out of Bounds at The Mint Museum

Charlotte is in for a treat! Picasso Landscapes Out of Bounds, organized by American Federation of the Arts, is the first of only two venues in the United States — and the only venue on the East Coast — to feature this exceptional exhibition filled with works from private collections and international museums together. The dynamic grouping of works in the exhibition offers visitors an unparalleled window into the artist’s creative process, from his earliest days in art school (1896 when the artist was just 15 years old) to months before his passing in 1973. Carolina Alpaca Celebration & Carolina Alpaca Parade

Don’t miss the biggest alpaca event in the southeast taking place at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord. Expect two alpaca shows featuring hundreds of alpacas competing, vendors selling alpaca and fiber-related items, educational classes, an alpaca costume contest, and much more.
