Breweries are the new everything in Charlotte – shopping markets, playgrounds, dog parks, restaurants, event venues, pretty soon they’ll have tennis courts. We’re not complaining, but it was striking to see all the shopping and pop-up markets happening at local breweries this month ~ if you can’t find your favorite micro-vendor, check there. Anywho, here’s what’s on the shopping calendar for June in the QC:
Openings
New high-end sneaker shop WOOSLEYS SHOES is Grand Opening SUNDAY, JUNE 11TH in the Shoppes at Ardrey Kell at 16631 Lancaster Hwy Charlotte, NC 28277 (Beside QDOBA). This is the brick & mortar location for a 20 year-old local entrepreneur who has been successfully running this company for 3 years.
Locally owned ADAIR boutique (started by UNC Charlotte grad Sydney Cook) opened a third area location at 1515 Tryon Street #106 in South End. The other stores are in Concord and Kannapolis.
SouthPark Mall now has an auto detailing shop so you can get the car spiffed up while you shop ~ The Touch Auto Detailing has online booking and services that range from 1 to 3 hours. It’s in the lower level parking area and seems quite practical and handy to us.
A new med-spa is opening up this month, in the Myers Park Harris Teeter shopping center at 1041 Providence Rd. SKINSPIRIT’s services will include facials and laser resurfacing, injectables, Smooth Threads, microneedling and more.
