The Young Affiliates of the Mint are hosting their annual Fall Ball on November 11th and you’re invited, even if you are not a member of the YAMs. The theme this year is Art Legends! honoring artists from the past, present, and the future up-and-coming artists.
The YAMs’ Fall Ball brings together Charlotte’s young professionals to enjoy a night of live music, dancing, cocktails, delicious food, and a chance to enjoy a formal night out with friends and fellow art supporters.

NEW this year is a VIP hour at the ball where VIP guests will have an hour to speak with special guests and receive a private viewing of the “The Art of Seating” exhibit gallery. VIP attendees will be offered signature hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at this intimate experience.

What to Wear
While the attire is formal, you’re encouraged to select an outfit inspired by your favorite artist or piece of artwork. Grab your best dress, suit, gloves, hats, and shoes for a night with the Legends. The “Best Dressed” individual will receive a complimentary custom sport coat from OMJ Clothing valued at $995.
We met with two lovely Young Affiliates at Neiman Marcus to showcase some fashion ideas from Neiman Marcus and from Belk Southpark. During the ball, there will be a silent auction along with various ways to give back throughout the night. All proceeds raised at the event will sponsor free tours of The Mint Museum for Charlotte Mecklenburg school students to inspire a new generation of artists, art enthusiasts, and leaders.
Parking is located in the parking garage of the Mint Museum along with parking across the street. If you don’t want to drive, grab a friend and ride share.
