The festival will be held at 8601 McAlpine Park Dr., in the parking lot at the Charlotte Secondary School.
The Great Pumpkin Fest at Carowinds

The Great Pumpkin Fest at Carowinds is back on select Saturdays and Sundays through October 29th, this year with a brand new Trick or Treats Parade. Families will love the Halloween activities and entertainment including trick-or-treating, games, play zones, a costume contest, dance parties, and more. Open Streets 704 Corridors Connect

Expect the intersections of Beatties Ford and Rozzelles Ferry (West Charlotte Recreation Center) and Graham Street and North Tryon (Anita Stroud Park) to be filled with people between 1 to 5 p.m. as Open Streets 704 hosts a day of car-free streets. For the next two weekends in October, one-mile stretches will close to traffic in an effort to encourage community and promote healthy lifestyles of walking and biking. There will be activities along the route such as line dancing, music, bike riding lessons, basketball shooting contests, and more.
