Artisan Carolinas: Our New Find for Your Kitchen & Bath Projects

Artisan Carolinas is now closed.

When Thomas Engram became Director of Operations for the local company Artisan Carolinas, the business was under new ownership with a new focus and commitment to service excellence. Artisan began installing countertops in 2007 and fabricating in 2009 and have been doing full kitchen and bath remodels since.

At the top of their new “to do list” was to establish some Service Guarantees to set them apart in this competitive field.

“My mission is to provide customers with quality craftsmanship and quick turnaround times, all without sacrificing on service standards.”

Start with a Free Estimate

It’s hard to know how much your new ‘idea’ or home project will cost, and it often costs you time and money just to get an estimate on that. But not at Artisan Carolinas. A dedicated member of their design team will personally visit your property to assess your needs and gather measurements and perspective. This thorough evaluation enables Artisan to offer you a comprehensive and tailored quote, and to make recommendations on the appropriate services. Plus, you can start with this project price eval and estimate, versus taking the time to try to figure out on your own what things cost, what will fit your budget, what’s it gonna take.

Quick & Professional

The team at Artisan takes a lot of pride in having quick turn around times to project completion – striving to get things done more quickly than local competitors, while achieving the quality and results you’re looking for. You can expect a prompt reply to your contact, and a prompt scheduling of both your estimate visit and your project start.

About the Cabinetry

Whether you’re in the market for all new kitchen cabinets, to replace your bathroom vanities, or to create a scullery, bar area, mudroom or laundry room, you’ll have more than a dozen selections of custom cabinets to choose from by DL Cabinetry, KCD Cabinets, and NKBC Collection. From sketching your particular layouts, to providing 3D renderings, and reviewing color selections, the in house designers with Artisan Carolinas will make the process of choosing your new cabinets a pleasure.

The company offers both semi-custom and fully custom cabinets. The choice between the two depends on factors such as the available space, the specific requirements and preferences of the customer, and the budget constraints. Their standard approach is to start with the more affordable semi-custom cabinets, and see how those can work for your project. In many cases, semi-custom cabinets can fulfill your requirements, and any necessary adjustments or modifications can be made on-site as needed to ensure a perfect fit.

You can see more on cabinet styles and finishes on their website HERE.

Marble, Granite and Quartz Countertops

Artisan Carolinas is a direct importer, and they house over 30 different colors and patterns of luxury countertop options at their fabrication warehouse on Clanton Road. In addition, they have established partnerships with reputable warehouses like MSI, Cosentino, and Silestone, which are located in the Charlotte area. These collaborations allow Artisan to provide customers, designers, and builders with access to top-quality materials at competitive prices.

As part of the process, your Artisan designer will walk you through the pros and cons of each type of stone ~ durability, maintenance, price ~ and help you select the countertops of your dreams. You can read more about the pros and cons of these luxury countertop selections HERE.

Remnants for the Win

One of the best, and most affordable, ways to upgrade your smaller countertop installations is with a remnant. Because stone is ordered with square foot minimums, usually 35 square feet, there is almost always something left over from a job. These leftovers can be your new replacement counters ~ the PERFECT option for replacing old, out-of-style bath countertops with beautiful new stone. Sold for a fraction of the price of a new order, you can walk the Artisan KBID showroom with a designer and explore available premium in-stock single slabs & remnants.

In House Interior Designers

Whether you are working with a designer or not, have a contractor or not, Artisan is staffed with folks who can help bring your project to realization. There are three in house designers at the company who specialize in Kitchen and Bath design, along with templators, installers, fabricators, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, all available to you as required for your project. It’s a close knit team of professionals who have completed over 18,000 jobs, averaging around 2,500 jobs in recent years.

Low Prices

With new ownership and new management, this local business is really pushing itself to satisfy the customer, and of course competitive pricing is always a part of that equation. The Artisan Carolinas guarantee is that their prices won’t be beat ~ they will work hard to give you the lowest reasonable price for the specific job or materials.
