Mardi Gras is kind of early this year, hitting on Tuesday, February 13th, so the time to order your KING CAKE is now.
Just fyi, people in New Orleans eat king cake for weeks in advance of actual Mardi Gras day, as it’s actually more a “Mardi Gras Season” down there. Tradition has it that the person who gets the baby is king or queen for the day, but also has to bring the next day’s / next time’s king cake.
If you’re not heading down to the WhoDat Nation for Mardi Gras ~ because there’s work and school on Fat Tuesday everywhere in the free world where they aren’t starting the day off at 7 am with bloodies & costumes ~ but you want to celebrate anyway:

King cakes available to order at Carolina Sweets Co through Feb 10th (order end 2/10 but pick up thru MG). Available filled with a cream cheese and cinnamon-sugar filling, topped with a vanilla glaze and sanding sugar. Each cake is approximately 9″ diameter and will feed 8-12 people.
