Valentine’s is hoppin’ in Charlotte this year ~ so many treats to eat and things to do, it’s hard to keep track! Here’s our curated list of QC Sweets in all the ways for V’day this year:

Then There’s the Date Night, or the Galentine’s celebration. Or Both.
Let’s face it, the hot spots are all booked up, and frankly have been for weeks. If you’re like us, and never quite sure what you’re going to do for this Lifetime / Hallmark movie holiday, here’s a list of spots with avails at press time. Mostly only early bird options remain, so be prepared for a 4 pm celebration. Just go with it and do something nice after dinner! OR, you could skip the crowds and celebrate the weekend AFTER since it’s Presidents Weekend and some folks will be OOT.
- Early Dinner at NAPA on PROVIDENCE or KINGSLEY. Three Course Prix Fixe | Dinner Only (menu HERE) $75++ per person
- Join the Watch Party for Love is Blind at THE GARRISON Cocktail Bar & Restaurant and MARGAUX’S WINE in Pineville, which were BOTH featured during the recording of the hometown Charlotte episodes of the Netflix hit show. Join them on debut day – Wednesday, February 14 @ 8PM – for Episode One and to enjoy Half Price Wine and Signature Love Is Blind Sangrias. Plus, Half Price Apps from 4-6PM.
- Go Casual with a Valentine’s Day Wine Special at THE WATERMAN locations, where you can enjoy a bottle of Pinot Project Pinot Noir for $25. Valid all day on 2/14. In-store only. A few tables left to reserve, early and at 8 pm.
- Enjoy Scenic Views with Love at The Lake at PORT CITY CLUB seatings from 4pm – 9 pm with a Limited A La Carte Menu and 1/2 Price on Select Bottles of Wine
- Celebrate on the 13th or the 15th with ANGELINES where the V Day menu runs from 2/9 through 2/17. They’re booked for the 14th but their special Valentines tasting menu is available all week with Shared Features for $125/couples:
- Warm Burrata Salad with Roasted Squash, Confit Heirloom Tomatoes, Pistachio Gremolata, Ciabatta
- Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with Creamy Basil Pistou, Pickled Tiny Vegetables, Lemon Caviar
- White Cioppino for Two with Day Boat White Fish, Clams, Mussels, Shrimp, Lobster, Gnocchi, Dino Kale, Calabrian Chili Oil, Ciabatta
- Amaretto Panna Cotta with Cherry Consomme, Crushed Pistachio, Spiced Cherry Chutney, Dark Chocolate Shaving, Vanilla Tuile
- Likewise, Reserve LA BELLE HELENE or CHURCH & UNION on any day other than Valentines (cuz they’re sold out) 2/12 through 2/15 to enjoy a celebratory 3-course prix-fixe menu for $100 per person.
- Hit the One of the Most Romantic Restaurants in the USA at THE CELLAR AT DUCKWORTH’S which was just named one of Yelp’s Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America and is the only restaurant in Charlotte to land on the list. BUT not on V Day, cuz it’s all booked up. However, times still open on the 15th and 16th.
- OR….skip the outing and stay home all cozy with a heart-shaped sushi order from COWFISH or sister restaurant EEZ. Valentine’s Day sushi platters include a selection of their best selling rolls in the shape of a heart. Order online at thecowfish.com and pick it up Sunday, February 11 through Saturday, February 17 *takeout only.

- You Are Somebody’s Type: Blood + Platelet Drive at Promenade on Providence on Wednesday, 2/14 from 11AM–4PM. Look for the Big Red Bus parked near Sips & Dips
- Wine Blending at The Coterie Concept, a SouthEnd spot where wine and coffee intertwine for some super fun events. $130 pp, 6:30 on Wednesday, 2/14 and other days. We don’t know what Wine Blending is, or why you would want to do it, but that’s why going is gonna be good.
- Head to PXG Golf Store Charlotte where they’re hosting a friendly closest-to-the-pin competition this month. In exchange for a $15 donation directly to The HEARTest Yard, participants are invited to test their precision and try to land their shot closest to the pin.
- Wine Tasting Bingo in University area with Bliss & Blends. 7:00-9:00 PM at the Tax and Tea Lounge at 9620 University City Blvd A. BUY TICKETS HERE…$75 gets you a 3 tiered wooden flight stand that contains a combination of 15 different wines. Each player receives a personal charcuterie box filled with different food items that make the perfect pairing for each wine. The host will educate each player on which food item pairs best with each wine throughout the game. The objective of the game is to taste each wine, as directed by the host, and guess the flavor of the wine by using your sense of taste, smell, sight and/or knowledge of wine.
- Galentine’s Day Cocktail Party at Duke Mansion February 13, 5 – 8p with live music, one drink ticket with a charcuterie and dessert display. $45 per person; reservations required.
- Keep the heart going when you Shop The HEARTest Yard fundraising pop-up at SORELLA COFFEE in Monroe on Sunday, Feb 18th from 12-4pm and pre-game with boutique shopping, permanent jewelry and more.
