We posted an article on this topic last Fall and it was very, very popular, so we’re back at it for Spring (sorry just a couple of weeks late for a few but make your notes for next year). Tickets and more info at the links for each of these fabulous local events. Even if you cannot go, consider donating to one of more of these worthy causes. CF Fashion Breaths Life Gala – Saturday, Feb 24

Starts at 6 pm at The Revelry. Attire is Cocktail Couture – You’ll see everything from tuxedos, to slacks and jackets…ball gowns to cocktail dresses and everything in between, so have fun with it.

Mint Museum Auxiliary WINTER WONDERMINT Party – Saturday, Feb 24

7-11 pm at The New Collector’s Room at 2122 Freedom Drive, Suite D. The dress code is ANYTHING GOES, from denim to sequins, but of course we highly recommend you jump on the #MOBWIFE instagram Trend. Whether you are a member of the Mint Museum Auxiliary, are considering becoming a member, are a supporter of the Mint Museum, or are just a supporter of getting dressed up and going to a party, this is always a fabulous event and this year will be no exception.

The Gift of Adoption Gala – Saturday, Feb 24

Starts at 6:00 PM at Carmel Country Club, this Gala provides grants to complete the adoptions of children in vulnerable situations  – giving them permanent families and the chance to thrive. 100% of the funds raised will help unite children with their forever families across the Carolinas.

Heartest Yard unGala – Monday, February 26

Enjoy an evening with Greg Olsen and friends at Charlotte’s hottest restaurant, Steak 48. Guests can enjoy a delicious dinner, cocktails, raffles and silent auction with friends and family – as well as a few special celebrity guests – all coming together for a great cause.

Charlotte Ballet DANCING WITH THE STARS – Saturday, March 2

At the Knight Theater, start times depend on your ticket/donation/vote$ amount. With this Gala, you ‘vote’ for your chosen dancers HERE and in doing so, purchase your $250 or $400 ticket. With a $400 ticket, your entry is at 6:30pm for cocktails, performance, after party and with a $250 ticket your entry is at 8pm for the performance and after party.

LAWA Gala for Education – Saturday, March 23

6:00 pm – MIDNIGHT at the UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel & Conference Center at 9041 Robert D. Snyder Rd. Funds will be used to continue LAWA’s mission to advance the education and quality of life of Latinos in the Charlotte Region through scholarships, workshops, and mentoring program.

Levines Children’s Gala – Saturday, April 6

The 10th Annual Levine Children’s Gala will be held at “The Stadium” in Uptown Charlotte. The annual black tie fundraiser for Atrium Health Levine Children’s will be a night to remember, featuring celebrity guests, musical performances, an exclusive VIP reception, unique food selections, a live auction, and after party.  Event Schedule:

Bechtler Fire & Ice Gala – Friday, April 19

Join the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and Gala hosts Liz Hilliard and Lee Kennelly for this year’s Bechtler Gala, “Fire + Ice.” This beautifully eclectic evening features entertainment, dancing, pop-up experiences, hors d’oeuvres, and surprises throughout the evening that will keep you expecting the unexpected.  “Fire + Ice” is inspired by Icelandic artist Hildur ÁsgeirsdóttirJónsson, whose work will be featured in the upcoming exhibition Infinite Space, Sublime Horizons. Gala proceeds support the ongoing exhibition and education programs at the Bechtler.

Turn the Night Blue with Autism Charlotte – Friday, April 19

Join Autism Charlotte, Ian Thomas of the Carolina Panthers, and their friends in Panthers Den at Bank of America Stadium on April 19th to Turn the Night Blue! Autism Charlotte’s mission is to embrace and empower children and families affected by autism and has served thousands of children since 2006. The evening will include live music and entertainment, food and beverage, silent auction, and a live auction too.

Clothes for Change Biennial Gala at the Mint Randolph – Sunday, April 21

Clothes for Change Biennial Spring Gala is a signature Clothes for Change black tie event that aims to raise money and awareness to support women’s empowerment initiatives. The funds raised at this year’s gala will go towards the Clothes for Change Women of Vision Scholarship, a fund that provides tuition to low-income, high-achieving female seniors at Myers Park High School the opportunity to further their education at college. The evening will feature a catered dinner, a silent auction, student performers, and keynote speaker Molly Grantham of WBTV.

Northwest School of the Arts 30th Anniversary Gala for the Arts
Friday, April 26

An anniversary gala and silent auction to fundraise for the emerging visual and performing arts students at Northwest School of the Arts. FRIDAY, APRIL 26 6–10PM at the HYATT CENTRIC CHARLOTTE SOUTHPARK.

Mint Museum Coveted Couture Gala
Saturday, April 27 Mint Museum Randolph

The 11th annual event celebrates the opening of the exhibition Objects of Affection: Jewelry by Robert Ebendorf from the Porter • Price Collection. The Coveted Couture Gala raises critical funds for The Mint Museum to support innovative programming, groundbreaking exhibitions, arts education for children, and community outreach around arts and culture in the Queen City.

The 2024 Coveted Couture Gala begins at 6:30 PM on April 27 at Mint Museum Randolph and includes cocktails on the terrace, a sit-down dinner, brief auction and paddle raise, followed by dancing to live music by the band Party with the People. Tickets to the gala are $850 per person.  The Coveted Couture Gala After-Party kicks off at 9:30 PM. Tickets to the after-party are $75 and include cocktails, light bites, and dancing.

18th Annual Rhapsody in Red Charity Ball for American Red Cross – Saturday, May 4

New Venue Alert!! This year’s event will be at The Ballantyne Hotel at 10000 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy. This event is black tie optional, so dress up in your finest and celebrate with the American Red Cross. There will be a plated dinner, beer and wine, as well as our live and silent auctions. The Extraordinaires will return this year to keep you entertained and dancing the night away.

2024 Memory Gala Alzheimer’s Association – Saturday, May 18

6-11 pm at the Westin. Join other influential community and business leaders and enjoy a wonderful event to celebrate the lives of loved ones impacted by dementia and raise funds to underwrite the Alzheimer’s Association’s support, education, advocacy and research initiatives.  You will enjoy an elegant, black-tie optional evening at uptown’s The Westin Charlotte that features a welcome reception, seated dinner, powerful mission moments, auction, as well as, dancing and live entertainment.
