Easter is so early this year, we’re all off our game and scrambling to make plans. We’ve scoop’ed out a few spots for brunch and picked some faves to wear and to decorate with. Plus of course, a few ways to see the Easter Bunny in Charlotte this year.

Easter Brunch at Angeline’s with an Easter Brunch tasting menu for Sunday, March 31, 8 am – 2 pm. The brunch menu features a choice of an entrée, with shared sides and sweets for $45/person. (Kids, $12 and under $20). We particularly love their “For the Table” array of a Toast Board with Selection of Smashed Avocado, Whipped Ricotta, Marinated Tomatoes, Pickled Onions, Fresh Fruits, Jams, Everything Spice, Herbs plus Fresh Baked Pastries and Croissants with Whipped Butter and Jams and a Tossed Local Greens Salad with Fresh Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables, Tossed in an Apple Cider Vinaigrette. With Sweet House Made Zeppoles and Cannolis for dessert.

Where to See the Easter Bunny in Charlotte This Year

Hop to Midtown on Saturday, March 23

Enjoy a day of family fun at Hop to Midtown, with free pictures with the Easter Bunny captured by a professional photographer along with face painting, a live DJ and festive crafts and treats (while supplies last). The event will take place on Midtown Row and throughout the breezeway located near Dressler’s. Free parking is available in the parking deck. The line for the Easter bunny will be cut off before 2PM to ensure the line does not continue to grow past the event time. We recommend arriving early. Please note the professional images will take up to 10 days to receive.

Spring Festival and Egg Drop at the Harris Y on Saturday, March 23

Join the Harris YMCA from 4-6 pm at the Cato Airnasium and fields for age group egg hunts, bounce houses, arts and crafts, food trucks, drawings of chance and more.

Blakeney Town Center Spring Fling on Saturday, March 23

Enjoy free family-friendly activities and capture a special moment with the Easter Bunny during Blakeney’s Spring Fling celebration on Saturday, March 23rd from 1 PM – 4 PM. The Plaza will feature balloon artists, face painters, a fun DJ with games and prizes, a flower bar, and more! An Easter Bunny photo opportunity will take place on The Green.

Easter Egg Hunt and Pictures at Birkdale Village on Saturday, March 30

The Easter Bunny will bring his eggs to Birkdale Village and we need all our friends’ help in picking them up.  Collect ten eggs and bring them to the trade-in tent to receive a special bag of treats. This event is open to the public, no registration is required. Two hunts to make sure all of our little friends can join in the fun:

  • Egg Hunt for Ages 3 and under starts at 9 AM
  • Egg Hunt for Ages 4-7 starts at 10 AM

The Easter Bunny will be available for photos from 9-10:30 AM in The Plaza. Walk-ups only. 

HOPPY HUNTIN’ at Resident Culture on Saturday, March 30 12:30PM

An egg-citing family-friendly Easter Egg Hunt that’s perfect for all ages with plenty of treats and treasures to discover! Rain or shine, the hunt is on! Free.
