The Face to Face Foundation (F2F Foundation) was established to address the ongoing financial burden faced by families due to the specialized care required for children with cleft lip and/or palate. With limited insurance coverage for on-going specialized care, many people in the community face barriers to accessing essential care, resulting in speech, feeding, and emotional challenges.

Our goal is to ensure that every person with facial differences has access to the highest quality care, regardless of financial constraints,” said Dr. Rick Kapitan, Charlotte-based cleft and craniofacial surgeon and founder of The Face to Face Foundation. “By helping to alleviate the financial burden on families, we can empower these children to lead happy, fulfilling lives.”

Through the gala event, The F2F Foundation aims to raise awareness and funds to support families in need. Donations provide various necessities including specialized feeding bottles, wound care items, orthodontics, speech therapy and other non-surgical therapy through a quarterly grant program.

Attendees of the inaugural gala for The Face to Face Foundation will enjoy a special performance by the Charlotte Symphony, a cocktail hour and seated dinner, a silent auction and raffle, inspiring guest speakers, and the presentation of a F2F grant to a deserving family. Individual tickets can be purchased here.
