Get out those seersucker suits, pastel frocks, and gloriously flowered hats, it’s time for the QC’s biggest and best annual Kentucky Derby Party, the Young Affiliates of the Mint Derby Days.

Celebrate the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby on the lawn of Mint Museum Randolph in Charlotte at what has been called the “Best Party for Young Socials” (Charlotte Observer).
Derby Days brings together more than 300 of Charlotte’s Young Professionals to enjoy a day of live music, lawn games, Mint Juleps, open wine and beer, food trucks, lawn games, a Derby raffle, and ~ of course ~ a large-screen viewing of the Kentucky Derby, dubbed “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports.” There’s even a Best Dressed and Best Hat Contest!
This event is for patrons 21 years of age or older. All proceeds raised at the event will sponsor free tours of The Mint Museum for Charlotte Mecklenburg school students to inspire a new generation of artists, art enthusiasts, and leaders.
