Closing Sale
BD Jeffries is closing their Charlotte location in the Morrison shops.
Their closing sale begins on Wednesday, Aug 7 with up to 60% off ~ most items will be 25% off. Sofas and sectionals will be 40% off and some brands only 20% off. Some items like Holiday ornaments will be 60% off.
Across the Street, Another Closing Sale
Wow. Days after BDJ announced their closing and sale, CIRCA announced their closing as well. Their sale will begin on Wednesday, Aug 7 with up to 70% off, in the same Morrison shopping center on Colony & Fairview as BDJ. The company will continue to sell via their online site as well as offer its interior design services.

New Stores Now Open
CHANEL opened a free-standing boutique in SouthPark Mall across from Aritzia. The CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty boutique features the brand’s latest perfumes, makeup, and skincare, along with exclusive products and sunglasses.
VUORI opened their boutique in July next to Sephora at SouthPark Mall.
Trunk Shows
ABODE is hosting some fab trunk shows at their LINVILLE store if you are in the mountains this month. We’re especially keen on the Mazza trunk show on August 15-16. The Mazza Company, which is the formerly unknown supplier of gemstones for many famous jewelry houses, has emerged as a leading creator of 14kt and 18kt fine fashion jewelry. Represented in the finest independent stores throughout the nation and the world, the Mazza Company continues to broaden its designs with its newest collections, which all reflect Mazza’s commitment to contemporary design while adhering to the tradition of the Italian masters.
Back to School
On Saturday, August 10 from 12-4 p.m., BELK stores will host a Back-to-School Bash (all Belk locations except Belk Outlets). Events will vary by store, but each location will host activities and shoppers can enter for a chance to win a dorm makeover or a $1,000 Belk gift card. Estee Lauder will also host a “Game Day Your Way Event” at all Belk locations, and stores with a salon will be offering $10 gift cards for kids’ back-to-school haircuts with any $100+ kids purchase that day.
