Thursday, September 5, 5p
Head to Symphony Park for Charlotte’s newest weekly happy hour and free entertainment night. Jam out to live music on the green, sip on adult beverages, enjoy delicious food, and hands on activities. This week, Shelley Ruffin | Southside Station will be performing. The six week concert series will be held every Thursday through October 10th.

Charlotte International Arts Festival

The Charlotte International Arts Festival is an annual celebration of imaginative visual and performing arts from the most creative international and local minds. Fun for everyone, from families to individuals ~ stay awhile, play, and welcome curiosity. With over 200 attractions, many for free, this festival has something for everyone that will be sure to leave you feeling inspired. 

Mecktoberfest at OMB
September 13 – 15
Get ready for double the fun and festivities at OMB’s 2024 Mecktoberfest! This year, we’re spreading the excitement across FOUR weekends, including Ballantyne’s inaugural Mecktoberfest and LoSo’s continued tribute to tradition. Dive into delicious German cuisine, enjoy live music in our Biergartens, and test your strength in our thrilling stein holding contests.

Dilworth Home Tour
September 13 & 14
Explore one of Charlotte’s most charming neighborhoods at the 50th Dilworth Home Tour. There will be seven beautiful homes on the home tour and a new garden beverage stop. The tour begins Friday September, 13, 2024 from 6:00pm-9:00pm and continues Saturday, September, 14, 2024 from 10:00am-4:00pm.

Flow Fest at Whitewater Center 
Saturday, September 14
Flow Fest is an annual one-day festival centered around the practice of yoga and wellness. Whether you are an experienced yogi or just getting started on the mat, Flow Fest offers more than 40 different practices to engage guests of all experience levels. Embrace a day dedicated to mindfulness while enjoying speciality workshops, local vendors, kombucha, live music, and of course, the great outdoors. Flow Fest is free to attend, but does require registration. The Whitewater Center has a daily parking fee of $6 per vehicle.

Charlotte Brunch Festival 
September 14
Charlotte’s Brunch Festival returns this year with a special Pop-Up as they partner with Charlotte International Arts Festival. Expect brunch bites, bunch inspired cocktails, live entertainment, photo ops, and of course, all the brunch vibes.

Fall Fest at Sycamore Brewing

Welcome fall at Sycamore Brewing with live music, fall carnival games, festive food specials, crafted cocktails, seasonal releases like the Pumpkin Blonde Latte, Syc fall merch and more.

Pull for a Purpose: 24,000 Meter Row to Benefit Cancer Community
Saturday, September 14, 11a – 4:30p
Not technically a walk or a run, but Pull for a Purpose’s cause is worthy of stepping outside your typical comfort zone and giving this unique rowing event a try! The event will include a DJ, food, and drinks, as well as competitive and non-competitive divisions. Competitive teams of two or non-competitive (‘party boat’) teams of two to four will come together to complete a combined total of 24,000 meters rowed. All are welcome, and participants must be age 8 or older to participate.

Oktoberfest at Lost World’s Brewing Company
Saturday, September 14th, 12p
It may be in September, but Oktoberfest is a fall event you do not want to miss this year! Held at Lost World’s Brewing, the festivities will begin at noon, 12:00 PM, with a keg tap done in true Munich fashion. From there, stick around for live music, dancing, a Stein holding contest, and a dress for the fest where the best dressed german costume will be chosen!

The Chop Shop Butchery is now open in Myers Park, and they’re teaming up with neighbors Clean Catch Seafood Market and The Sporting Gent, for a GRAND OPENING PARTY filled with delicious food and great company. Festival of India 
September 14 – Noon to 8:00 PM | September 15 – Noon to 6:00 PM
The vibrant and colorful Festival of India is a cultural attraction boasting performances with traditional Indian dances, exhibits, visual arts, souvenir bazaar, Indian food court, and an art pavilion hosting a kid’s art competition. The core mission of the festival is to highlight and share the rich cultural diversity of the land of India with friends and neighbors at large around the Carolinas.

Day one at the Belk Theater, features captivating performances blending Bollywood glamour and classical Indian dance, with breathtaking choreography and soul-stirring music. Explore vibrant showcases of art, crafts, attire, and cuisine from across India, and shop for Indian clothing and jewelry outside on Tryon Street. 

Day two at the Ballantyne Backyard, experience cultural immersion and exploration at the Festival of India, set amidst natural rolling hills and lush greenery. Enjoy live workshops, learn Indian dance moves, and try your hand at traditional Rangoli-making. Indulge in the intricate art of henna design or adorn yourself in a luxurious silk.

Nebel’s Alley Night Market

Spend the evening doing some open-air shopping, tasting, and lively entertainment at Nebel’s Alley Night Market. Find local vendors gathering under the Design Center water tower in South End every second Saturday of the month from April through November.

Roaring Riot Kickoff Jam Festival at NoDa Brewing Company
September 14
Along with kicking it with Panthers royalty including Jonathan Stewart, Captain Munnerlyn, Mike Rucker and Chuba Hubbard this year’s Kickoff Jam features a full day of live music including top national recording artists Moon Taxi and The Nude Party, as well Charlotte local favs Simplified, Cutty Cutright and Deaf Andrews.
