SouthPark After 5 – PLUS BLOOD DRIVE AND DONATION COLLECTION

Head to Symphony Park to enjoy live music on the green, sip on adult beverages, and enjoy delicious food and hands on activities. This week, Java Band | On The Border Ultimate Eagles Tribute will be taking the stage. There’ll also be free face painting with Face Art & More, plus free sunflowers for the first 1000 attendees. MOST IMPORTANTLY THIS WEEK, collections will be taken for donations to the victims of Hurricane Helene in Western NC
You may have seen the big beer truck at SouthPark After 5, and this Thursday they will be filling it with supplies to be delivered to Western North Carolina on Friday morning.
- The truck will be accepting donations at Symphony Park, 4400 Sharon Rd., across from Dick’s Sporting Goods from 12-9pm on Thursday, October 3.
- All supplies will be accepted, with a particular need for water, nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, trash bags, baby formula, diapers, baby wipes, paper plates, and plastic utensils.
- The American Red Cross will be on site accepting blood donations from 3-8pm, thanks to organizing partners Albemarle Corporation.

Phillips Place Community Pumpkin Patch

The Pink Cupcake Walk starts at 9:30am with gates to the field opening at 7:30am. Register today. Then, plan to join us at the baseball stadium in uptown on the first Saturday in October for four laps around the Charlotte Knight’s baseball field. As you make each lap, stop at a different local bakery for a delicious mini-cupcake.
