The Uptown Holiday Market runs Wednesday, December 4, to Saturday, December 7 on Levine Avenue of the Arts (the one block between S. Tryon and S. Church between Mint Museum Uptown and the Bechtler). 24 vendors and holiday activations.

Winter Holiday Market at Anne Springs Close Greenway, December 7

From 2 to 7 PM at 1600 Central Ave. in PM, this festive event will feature:
- A winter market with local vendors selling unique holiday gifts
- Ornament-making station presented by the Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association

The Light the World Giving Machines are at Promenade on Providence through December 8th. These unique giving machines offer a fun and memorable way to help those in need and perform an instant act of kindness. The Giving Machines also make a great visual aid in both storytelling and teaching kids about giving. Prices for items in the Giving Machines range from $5 to $175.
