Avocado. It’s what’s for dinner. And lunch. And even breakfast. While you may only think of avocados for guacamole, there are so many other options for this magical bright green fruit. In the past avocados got a bad rap for being high in fat but research has shown that the fat associated with the fruit has a host of health benefits. They’re low in saturated fat (the bad kind), sodium free, cholesterol free and full of lycopene and beta-carotene. Simply put, we think avocados are nutritious and delicious.
