These things I know are true:
There is no engagement ring that can’t be improved by a gorgeous diamond band.
It’s never too late to add a diamond wedding band to your ring(s).
And while not accepted truisms, there are also my personal rules of diamonds:
There are no diamonds too big. Â There are just diamonds too big for the budget.
Budgets often increase over time. Â So can diamonds.
There’s no such thing as too many diamond wedding bands.Â
Buying the wedding band is usually completely overshadowed by the selection of the engagement ring, not to mention the gown, the flowers, the venue, the music and all the rest of the ceremony details. Â Brides & couples are often so overwhelmed by the choices they’ve already made, not to mention the money they’ve spent, that the bands get short shrift. Â Desperate for some simplicity, they choose a plain platinum or gold band for the wedding ring. Â Engraved of course.
Nothing wrong with that.  However, you may wish you had gone for the diamond band, once the dust settles. In fact, many women eventually wear only their band, leaving the engagement ring for special occasions.  This is where a beautiful band OR bands can make the perfect everyday statement of your love and commitment.
Frankly, whether you are newly engaged, newlywed, never-wed or wed for decades, you’ll want to consider buying a diamond or gemstone band or two or five. Large or small, matchy or eclectic, you seriously will not go wrong with these rings. You can add on for major life events, like babies, anniversaries, even divorce (!) or to celebrate your perfect and ongoing single status (!!).
DIAMONDS DIRECT in SouthPark has hundreds and hundreds of diamond and gemstone wedding bands to choose from, along with amazing everyday low prices and quarterly sales events that will get you the band of your dreams at an even lower price.
There’s a spring event coming in a few weeks, so we thought we’d pull some of our favorite diamond bands to get you thinking.
Choose a wedding ring or new band you love ~ it doesn’t have to be a perfect match with your engagement ring. While it is traditional to wear your wedding ring closest to the heart, and wear the engagement ring on the same finger over the wedding ring, you can add a band or bands either before or after your wedding set.
As I said, the only rule is that you really can never have enough diamonds my dear.
