I found the solution to this heat, Charlotte!  Look no further: Sky High Sports in Pineville is THE place to be on these hot summer days.  The AC is BLASTING and the music is PUMPING.
ScoopCharlotte spent Friday afternoon jumping, flipping, and bouncing in a super cool facility. Literally. The kids (nor I) didn’t want to leave!
The football field sized main jumping floor is non-stop with kids and adults of all ages.  It calls your name and before you realize…you are bouncing from trampoline to trampoline with your kids telling you to, “wait for them”.  Or maybe that was just me.
My five year old son’s favorite areas were the slam-dunk basketball (where he soared like Michael) and the foam-pit where he could jump and fly into soft foam blocks the size of his noggin. Â My daughter, Elle, had to be physically pulled from the pit kicking and screaming after not realizing her turn was over. Â Or again, was that me? Hmm. Anyways.
I even attempted the rope swing.  It wasn’t cute but I didn’t care: best stress-relief out there. We all had a blast.  This mama even had time to settle into one of many comfy leather chairs, near gigantic flat-screeen TVs, where I watched my kiddos continue to jump themselves silly.
What did this mama like most?  How closely the staff interacted and paid attention to all the participants.  Safety like that? A parents dream! And when we left = my little jumpers were worn out.  What great exercise!

Also note ~ it made me super proud to watch my children follow rules, wait in lines, and interact with other kids. Â Sky High Sports is an all-around family-friendly place. Â And if you have little kids, they will love the smaller child sized jump floor just for them!
There was one VIP area that we didn’t venture into…yet. Â The Deluxe Event Area geared specifically toward private groups and events was massive. I eyed the 400 square-foot semi-private area all afternoon and have already envisioned Cooper’s 6th birthday party.
Honestly though, this area is the perfect spot for any group looking for fun. Fresh corporate team building idea? Book the Deluxe Event Area. [or take over the whole place. In total Sky High Sports accommodates up to 270 jumpers]. The Bridal Shower no one else has thought of? Yes. A Mini-Family Reunion where the cousins jump and the adults catch up? Again, yes.  The Deluxe Event area, like the rest of Sky High Sports, is always ALL INCLUSIVE! So your Deluxe Event would include unrestricted use for ten (10) guests of all trampolines, laser maze, sports simulator, slam-dunk basketball, foam pit, and ropes course…..as well as two large pizzas and bottled water.
Sky High Sports is also running a Family Night Special throughout the summer on Tuesday evenings from 5-8. It is $45 for 4 family members or friends and includes 1 hour of all access fun plus 1 large pizza and a pitcher of drink or 4 water bottles.
