L I G H T I N G is a quick, easy, user-friendly way to change up decor. Decorating professionals always emphasize the importance of lighting in the overall design of a room, not to mention the ambiance it provides.

CHANDELIERS AND PENDANTS

When purchasing a chandelier or pendant there are two basic things to consider; SIZE and HEIGHT.

The size of the hanging fixture is determined by the square footage of the room.These measurements are just a guide but they demonstrate that the chandelier, while it should make a statement, should not overpower the room.

Room 10 x 10 — Fixture 17- 20 inches in diameter

Room 12 x 12—-Fixture 27 inches in diameter

Room 14 x 14—-Fixture 24-36 inches in diameter

Also note, a chandelier should hang 30 inches above a dining table and at least 8-9 feet off the floor in a foyer.
