Join AAIR to raise awareness for Allergies & Immunodeficiency in October

Rained Out 🙁 The Teal Pumpkin Project – Pumpkin Painting Party moves to  10/31

Join the good folks at Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Relief as they work to raise awareness for food allergies all over our city as part of the Teal Pumpkin Project.

Due to the weather forecast (thank you Joaquin) AAIR has moved the Teal Pumpkin Painting Party to SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31, as part of their FARE walk.  See below for info and to sign up for both the walk and the pumpkin painting.

Launched as a national campaign by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) in 2014, the Teal Pumpkin Project™ raises awareness of food allergies and promotes inclusion of all trick-or-treaters throughout the Halloween season.  The Teal Pumpkin Project™ promotes safety and respect of individuals managing food allergies by asking households to pledge to offer an alternative for kids with food allergies, as well as other children for whom candy is not an option.  Participating households are asked to display a teal pumpkin and provide non-food treats like glow sticks, bracelets, stickers, etc.

Please bring a pumpkin(s) to paint. AAIR will have the teal paint and brushes, and you will paint pumpkins on the beautiful balcony overlooking uptown Charlotte!
