Free Chocolate this Friday.

Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen of Charlotte, NC will be giving out free chocolate at their cooking space inside of Atherton Market in South End on Friday February 5th from 4 – 6:00 pm.“We have so much extra chocolate from our Chocolate Making Workshop that we knew we couldn’t eat it all. So we decided to share with everyone!” said owner and Executive Chef Alyssa Gorelick.  “There will be a selection of hand-dipped chocolate truffles and caramels along with flavorful coffee from Pure Intentions,” added Gorelick.

The 2016 Queen City Brewers Festival is coming Saturday, February 6 to The Fillmore at the NC Music Factory. QCBF is ACEing Autism’s annual winter fundraiser, bringing together the Charlotte-area’s craft breweries, brewpubs, craft beer focused restaurants, sponsors and enthusiasts to support ACEing Autism’s mission to serve more families in the Charlotte community affected by autism spectrum disorders. Each brewery and exhibitor offers a variety of its beer and food for guests to sample in an intimate setting. Live music and interactive games will be on hand during each of the two tasting sessions: 1-4PM and 6-9PM.
