Don’t miss the Innovative Works at Charlotte Ballet this week and next.

Charlotte Ballet’s Innovative Works is one of the most popular performances of their season and for good reason. The show, running now through February 20, features six brand new ballets, and the chance to meet and mingle with the performers after the shows. I’ve been to Innovative Works, and it is a fantastic way to enjoy the ballet.

While many of Charlotte Ballet’s shows are in larger spaces, Innovative Works happens right in their home at the Center for Dance in uptown. The intimate 200-seat theater offers unparalleled view of the dancers’ athleticism modeled by the contemporary choreography. The tickets are priced $25, $45  and $65, making this a great option for date nights, girls’ outings, and family cultural matinees.

Find a favorite dancer during the show? Stick around after the curtain falls for dessert and coffee with the artists.

Many of the shows have already sold out so don’t delay getting your tickets for the final two weekends of performances!
