Hard to believe that in less than 3 months school will be out and summer will be here. I feel like I just ordered the backpacks and lunchboxes yesterday. If you are considering resident camp for your child or children this summer, you probably should have started the process last fall! Most of the girls’ camps we recommend are fully booked with waitlists. There are some spots still left in a few boys and co-ed camps.
We are lucky in NC as there are so many great options within a reasonable drive from home. Below is our list of girls’ camps, boys’ camps and coed camps with the info we could find on their 2016 availability. Please note, just like our list of Charlotte summer day camps, this is NOT an exhaustive list. Â These are camps we’ve sent our own children too, or where our friends kids have gone. Finding the right one for your child is key, so be sure to check out the camp websites linked in our list for more details.
