Nestled in the back corner of a shopping plaza in Dilworth ~ most known for a hearty breakfast at Toast or having pants hemmed at Anna’s Alterations ~ sits MONTALDO’SÂ inside of Douglas & Montaldo’s Furs. Montaldo’s offers classic and timeless clothing from European designers exclusive to the Charlotte market. Elegant and sleek.
They’re hosting a an event this week on Wednesday, September 21st from 3pm-7pm for you to shop their Fall/Winter ready to wear collection, including a meet & greet with jewelry designer Elizabeth Martin. Called the Driven to Shop event, because while you are there, you can also check out the latest models from the premier electric car company.
The Fall/Winter offerings at Montaldo’s are a global collection with Italian designers Circolo 1901, Lamberto Losani, and Tonet; Not Shy from France and Cino from India. We found cashmere sweaters, crisp shirts and blazers and suede booties that pair well with the fur vests and coats from Douglas & Montaldo’s Furs .Â
Jewelry designer Elizabeth Martin will be kicking off the debut of her natural stone jewelry collection at Montaldo’s with a meet and greet at Wednesday’s Driven to Shop event. Martin’s collection of jewelry featuring tribal beads from Nepal and Tibet, vintage Afghani coins and gold-leaf buddha beads from India are a wonderful complement to Montaldo’s Fall/Winter clothing.
