Ah, October — you never felt so good. Â With the humid days of summer behind us (hopefully), we can finally start the transition into fall and cooler weather. Â Despite the 80 degree temps of early October in Charlotte, we all know, sweater weather is not far behind.
Don’t be caught off guard when it finally hits. Instead, shop the cutest sweaters new in stores now ~ that’s the only way to be sure you have the pick of the best. Just like swimsuits in March, sweaters come in like a lion in September and are totally picked over by Thanksgiving.
We wish we knew an exact date of when we will all be wearing our warm and cozy sweaters here in the QC, but our guess is just as good as the weather man himself. We asked Brad Panovich of WCNC – he of 52K Twitter Followers – for his take on when we can expect sweater weather in Charlotte, and he says….
Sweater Weather typically starts around early to mid November. Though we get some tastes of it in October by Halloween, this year is running behind. So I think at least late October or early November before we truly have sweater weather.
