Your evening at the Easter edition of Food Truck Friday at Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company starts with some fun seasonal kids activities and continues with browsing the menus of six kitchens on wheels. Latta Easter Egg Hunt
Latta Plantation, Huntersville

The hunt is on at Latta Plantation, where kids of all ages will participate in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The day continues with visits with farm animals, live children’s music, arts and crafts and children’s story time. Plus, families can tour the plantation home and grounds. Register for the egg hunt online. $8 per child.
Bunny Run 5K
Downtown Concord
9:30 a.m.
Before indulging in Easter basket candy, lace up for the Bunny Run 5K. The route begins on Means Avenue in downtown and winds through the McEachern and Downtown Connector Greenways. A one-mile fun run is also an option. Afterwards, stick around for family fun at the Bunny Run Festival with inflatables, face painting and visits with the Easter Bunny himself.
