Mingling on the Greens is back for the summer at Birkdale Village. Concerts are held each Friday and Saturday evening, as well as on Sunday afternoons. Here’s the line-up for this weekend:

FRIDAY

The Charlotte Symphony
McGuire Nuclear Station’s EnergyExplorium, Huntersville | 8:15 p.m.

The Charlotte Symphony, led by conductor Christopher James Lees takes the stage lakeside to help you kick off your weekend. Expect classics by Mozart, Mendelssohn and more. Come by boat, or take advantage of the free parking. Free admission.

Cabarrus Co. Food Truck Friday
Cabarrus Brewing Company, Concord | 6 p.m.

Satisfy even the pickiest eater with dinner out at Food Truck Friday. The line-up of confirmed trucks includes Masterbacon, Carolina Smash Truck, T2C Smokehouse and Wingz on Wheelz.

SATURDAY

Cornelius Food Truck Invitational
Oak Street Mill, Cornelius | 2 p.m.

This chowdown competition pits the area’s top restaurants on wheels against each other as they battle it out for your vote. Taste from 15 food trucks and vote for your favorites. Winner categories include a Critic’s Choice award, best burger, most nutritious and more. Local breweries and street vendors will also be on-site.

Father’s Day Weekend Wine & Music with “Thirsty Horses”
Daveste’ Vineyards, Troutman | 6 p.m.

Bring Dad to the vineyard for a day of tasting, wood fired pizza and live music. Thirsty Horses takes the stage at 6 p.m. to set the tone for a relaxing evening of sipping.

Kronuts & Beer at High Branch
High Branch Brewing Co., Concord | 12 p.m.

High Branch teams up with Dessert Specialists, LLC/Cafe Ganache for a kronut and beer pairing. Each ticket includes a beer flight (four beers) paired with four mini kronuts. Register here.

Summit Solstice Relay & Festival
120 Patterson Court Cir, Davidson | 7 a.m.

Can you keep pace? This 12-hour individual or team relay race puts endurance, teamwork and strategy to the test. Camp out with your team and take turns running on a course option of your choice. Throughout, enjoy live music and beer from Sierra Nevada. Sign up.

Wood Fired Pizza Workshop
7624 Hilliard Ln., Concord | 6 p.m.

Get hands-on instruction from the experts in fresh at this pizza workshop led by Lucky Leaf Gardens. On the menu is a farm fresh veggies pizza (using microgreens from the greenhouse), a make your own option and a homemade dessert. The event is BYOB.
