Umphrey’s McGee headlines this golf-centric concert in support of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. After a day on the course, jam out to the covers and originals performed by both Umphrey’s McGee and opener Moon Taxi. $30 general admission.
Donut Dash: 2 Partners, 2 Donuts, 2 Miles
Joe’s Doughs | 6 p.m.
Too hot for a daytime run? Grab a running partner and run a nighttime relay in the name of donuts at Thursday’s Donut Dash. Prizes include Joe’s Doughs prize packs and Charlotte Knights tickets. Registration begins at 6 p.m. with the race starting at 6:30 p.m.

When Mr. K’s first opened their doors in 1967 they offered a simple menu of four items: hot dogs, potato chips, soda and ice cream cones. To celebrate their 50th anniversary, the South End classic is going back to their roots.
Stop by to enjoy a donation-based offering of these four items on Sunday, August 13th. Donations benefit the Levine Children’s Hospital and the Isabella Santos Foundation.
