THURSDAY

Sip and Paint
Fox & The Hound Huntersville | 6:30 p.m.

Grab a date or your girlfriends to paint your own glassware at Fox & Hound. The class includes all supplies, plus the full drink and food menu is available throughout the event. $30 per person.

FRIDAY

Uncorked & Artsy
Downtown Mooresville | 6-9 p.m.

Stroll the streets of Downtown Mooresville meeting with artists, shopping and sipping craft beer and wine. Uncorked & Artsy features an art walk, live music and wine and beer tastings along the way. Art walk is free to attend, while wine and beer tastings are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the event. Tastings include up to 15 tastings and a souvenir glass.

Davidson International Festival
Davidson College, Davidson | 4:30 – 8 p.m.

Come celebrate different cultures from around the world at Davidson College’s first open International Festival hosted by Davidson International Association (DIA). Visit booths from different countries, enjoy performances and top it off with an international fiesta with activities, a salsa dancing lesson, global fare and more. Free admission.

Jack’s Friday The 13th Bash
Jack’s Corner Tap, Cornelius | 9 p.m.

Don’t be scared off by Friday the 13th. Come to Jack’s Corner Tap for drink specials and live music from the 7 Days Band.

2nd Friday Street Festival
Oak Street Mill, Cornelius | 6-10 p.m.

Cornelius’ monthly showcase returns with live music from local talent, food trucks, local beer and wine offerings, artisan vendors, live art demonstrations and more.

Zero K – All Fun, No Run!
Oak Street Mill, Cornelius | 7 p.m.

Coinciding with 2nd Friday, the ZeroK is a run everyone can get in on. Go ahead and find your spot behind the start line, but when the gun goes off don’t take off in a sprint. You’ve already done the hard work. Celebrate your “non-run” with live music from The Brian Bigby Band, food trucks, local brews, vendors, kids activities and more. Participants receive a race packet, t-shirt, drink tickets, raffle entry and a special Zero K medal. The event benefits three charities: the Pinky Swear Foundation, Children’s Hope Alliance and Beds for Kids.

Oktoberfest: Explore Beers of the Season
201 Central Cafe, Beer & Wine, Huntersville | 5 p.m.

This weekly tasting is appropriately Oktoberfest themed. Sip your way through a variety of Oktoberfest beers and pick a new favorite for the weekend.

MPACT Movie Night: Hocus Pocus
Lowe’s YMCA, Mooresville | 6 p.m.

Get into the Halloween spirit with Hocus Pocus on the big screen. The Mooresville Police Department will be serving up hot dogs and candy, while you can roast s’mores with the Mooresville Parks and Recreation Department. Dress to play yard games and bring a blanket or chair for relaxing to watch the movie, which will begin at sundown.

BrewFest Weekend
Carolina Renaissance Festival, Huntersville | Saturday – Sunday

If your idea of a good time involves beer and jousting, make plans to visit the Renaissance Festival this weekend. Enjoy a Beer Festival featuring the 2017 Gambrinus Cup Homebrew competition award winning brew and participate in a series of RenFest Beer Games. Dress in costume for the hilariously fun Saucy Wench Costume Contest, or partake in the pub crawl.

Fall PhotoWild
Carolina Raptor Center, Huntersville | Saturday and Sunday

Get your cameras ready! Amateur and professional photographers alike will enjoy this professional photo shoot featuring Carolina Raptor Center’s resident raptors. Each day highlights over 20 different raptors in unique settings each day. The day includes six sessions, including a free-flight rotation.

The fifth annual Huntersville Fall Festival is fun for the whole family. Shop local art and craft vendors, relax with live music from the HC Oaks Band, Coddle Creek and Tobacco Road, build a scarecrow, visit the pumpkin patch, dine at one of over 10 food trucks onsite and more. Admission is free.

Pumpkin Fest! at the Amazing Maize Maze
Rural Hill, Huntersville | 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

It’s all things pumpkin at the Amazing Maize Maze’s Pumpkin Fest. Dig into pumpkin ice cream, pastries, entrees, coffee, beer, cider and more after finding your way through the maze. Pick out your own pumpkin, then decorate it with the help of a professional painter. Or, send them flying with their Punkin’ Chunking’ sling. Adults maze tickets are $11, child tickets are $8.

Festival of Food Trucks
Downtown Mooresville | 5 p.m.

Consider dinner planned. Dine on gourmet fare from 10 of the area’s best food trucks, including Sal’s Roadside Eatery, Smokey J’s BBQ, Taco Green-Go and more. Beer will be provided by Ghostface Brewing and wine by Traveling Grapes.

2017 Iredell County Walk to End Alzheimer’s®
ESC Park 338 North Avenue, Troutman | 9 a.m.

Join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the 2017 Iredell County Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, which raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Lac up for the one to two mile walk, honor those affected with a tribute and learn about ways to be involved in finding a cure.
