For fifteen years, The Furniture Connector has been a Charlotte staple for unique furniture and home decor at prices that won’t break the bank. After all, you need to put dinner on the table after you purchase it don’t you?
After several years on Griffith Street in South End, The Furniture Connector recently moved down the street to 129 Southside Drive next to Good Road Cider. With the move comes double the floorspace, as the new showroom now has 14,000 square feet compared to their former 7,500 square foot location.
The Furniture Connector opened in their new space in August and is settled in with new programs and vendors. Unlike a lot of showrooms, TFC sells everything off the floor ~ so if you’re in a hurry for something to fill your home for the Thanksgiving holiday there’s no traditional ordering and wait time. Another added feature of the Griffith Street showroom is a new rug department showcasing a variety of machine-made, vintage and hand-knotted rug styles. And if you’re looking for that perfect chair to complete your room, you can have your choice of eight different chair designs in over 800 fabrics for just $699 each. The options are virtually endless.
We visited The Furniture Connector’s new location this week to check out what’s new just in time for the upcoming holiday season. Here’s just a preview of what we found:
