This is one of the last Mondays to enjoy the outdoor trials and exhibits at Carolina Raptor Center before they switch to their winter hours. Lets the kids run and roam the many easy-to-navigate paths with a feathered around most corners. Ask for the daily program when you buy tickets to see who many be taking flight in a show.

Join Rutherford Rabbit and enjoy a seasonally themed story and a take-home craft activity in the Children’s Garden. Kids can water the vegetable plants, dig for worms, explore the sensory and butterfly gardens, and checkout the chickens. Registration recommended.

Mini-Masters Art Workshop: Red Yellow Blue, 1:30 – 2:45
Mint Museum Randolph, $16
Little artists and their adult companions explore the museum galleries and create art in this playful class centered on creativity, fine-motor skills, and confidence-building. Explore different media and try out new art-making techniques in each class, including drawing, painting, cutting, and constructing. Go on a color hunt in the Italian Renaissance gallery, and experiment with mixing paints to create a colorful masterpiece of your own!

The Teen Science Café experience is organized by teens for teens who create a comfortable environment for engaging socially during a science-themed event. The evening features food, icebreakers, a research lecture and Q&A by a featured scientist, interactive components and cool door prizes!

Spooktacular Family Fall Fun, 6:00 p.m.
