FRIDAY
Zeppelin Grand Opening
235 W Tremont Ave. | 10 p.m. – 2 a.m., regular dinner service beginning at 5 p.m.
Get your ticket now for Zepplein’s grand opening. South End’s newest hot spot will celebrate by offering their new neighbors light bites, four drink tickets and tunes for just $29 per ticket. River’s Edge Craft Dinner
U.S. National Whitewater Center | 6:30 p.m.
The USNWC’s next craft dinner series features a five-course dinner created by Executive Chef Michael Rayfield and beer pairings from Highland Brewing Company. View the menu here. $60 per person.
Charlotte Symphony: Vivaldi Four Seasons
Belk Theater | 7:30 p.m.
On both Friday and Saturday evenings, enjoy performances of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, as well as works from Bach, Telemann and Mendelssohn led by violinist and conductor Aisslinn Nosky. Don’t miss the pre-concert talk led by Assistant Conductor Christopher James Lees at 6:30 p.m.
Jazz at the Bechtler: Post Holiday Blues
Bechtler Museum of Modern Art | 6 and 8:15 p.m.
Embrace the post-holiday blues as the Ziad Jazz Quartet performs with drummer Kobie Watkins. Concerts will be performed at 6 and 8:15 p.m. Tickets are $14 for non-members and $8 for members.

Appalachian Heirloom New Year’s Dinner
Catawba Brewing Co. | 7 – 10 p.m.
Catawba Brewing Company’s Culinary Series continues with an Appalachian New Year’s Dinner crafted by Chef Clark Barlowe of Heirloom. The dinner begins with a tour of the brew house and a cocktail-style first course, and is followed by three entrée courses, each paired with a different craft beer. Top it off with a dessert paired with a bourbon barrel aged beer. A generous portion of the proceeds will benefit Chefs Collaborative. Tickets are $65 each.
