The Charlotte Concert Band is a treasure in the city’s arts scene, a volunteer community band of professional and dedicated amateur musicians whose mission is to provide lifelong participation in music through performances of classic concert band repertoire. Musicians who have recently moved to Charlotte find it a warm & welcome place to join with members who have played together in the band for over 40 years. Students at Queens University of Charlotte participate in the CCB ~ music majors as well as talented non-majors join in each semester ~ and many Queens students in the CCB come from high schools with outstanding band programs.
