OPENINGS

Sabor Latin Street Grill, Huntersville – Opening June 18

Sabor Latin Street Grill, a favorite for their authentic take on street food from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia, will open its ninth location at 14230 Reese Blvd. West in Huntersville. Look forward to daily specials, including $1 tacos Monday – Friday from 3 – 5 p.m. and $5 amigos margaritas on Friday.

Graham St. Pub & Patio – Opening June 20

The much anticipated pub and rooftop patio bar will open June 20, just in time to enjoy a beer or cocktail with a skyline and stadium view. Expect a neighborhood feel, upstairs and downstairs patios and a convenient pre-and post-game hangout spot.

Brewers at 4001 Yancey – Opening soon

This joint craft beer venture from Southern Tier and Victory Brewing is on pace to open in June. Beer-lovers will enjoy new offerings from both beer brands, a massive taproom and expansive outdoor area.

Whole Foods Uptown – Opened June 13
400 E. Stonewall St.

Whole Foods Market Uptown is now open in the new Stonewall Station development. The location features a wine and beer bar, Genji sushi station, pizza bar, coffee bar and signature prepared food options.

Sushi Guru, Plaza Midwood – Opened June 12

Sushi Guru, a favorite for specialty rolls and sake selection, is now open at 1217 The Plaza. In addition to sushi, the Plaza Midwood location also offers other Asian-style dishes including poke bowls.

Bulla Gastrobar – Opened June 11

Bulla Gastrobar, known for its traditional Spanish tapas and creative cocktails, is now open in SouthPark. Expect a classic Spanish gastrobar feel and authentic dishes with modern touches like cured meats from Spain, Gambas Al Ajillo with sautéed shrimp, garlic and guindilla, Serrano ham croquettes and fig jelly and paella.

Monthly “Countdown to St. Patrick’s Day Special
The Rogue

It’s never too early to start the countdown to St. Patrick’s Day. Head to The Rogue in Dilworth (right on lively East Boulevard) the 17th of every month as we mark one closer to the big day. The $17 special includes fish and chips or shepherds pie, Baileys Irish cheesecake and a hot or frozen Irish coffee.

Soul Food Sessions and Coca-Cola Consolidated are teaming up for a four-city tour of pop-up dinners to raise awareness about diversity in the culinary industry. Kicking off in the Queen City on Juneteenth, this pairing features a signature dish served with  Coke Zero Sugar and additional dishes served with Free Range Brewing beers. Inizio chefs Chris Reinhart and Peter Falcon are putting a new spin on your typical “beer and pizza” night out. For this pairing event, the chefs will use local ingredients and Triple C Brewing Company beer to create two specialty pizzas not available anywhere else. Rose Wine Dinner, Siano Mozzarelle
