New Concept from Urban Food Group – Coming Soon to StoneCrest
The StoneCrest website indicates a new concept from the owners of Vivace is in the works. The yet-to-be-named concept is expected to occupy a 5,356 square-foot space next to TRUE Crafted Pizza in the StoneCrest shopping center. More information, including an opening date, is forthcoming.
Verde – Open Now
Straight from King Street comes Verde in Ballantyne, a fast-casual eatery supplying colorful signature salads, hearty grain bowls, signature wraps and more with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients and sustainability. We can’t wait to try the Sweet Tea Vinaigrette on the Southern Harvest Salad (which you can also have in a wrap) and the seasonal Give Peach a Chance made with South Carolina peaches. Verde’s fifth location, and first in North Carolina, is now open at 15105-F John J. Delaney Drive.
Cafe Moka – Open Now
Cafe Moka, whose flagship location is in Virginia Beach, opened in Waverly in South Charlotte on July 9. Expect a menu of craft espresso, traditional and frozen lattes, fruit smoothies, teas and specialty drinks. Find them at 7416 Waverly Walk Ave.
Timed Out Escape – Open Now
Looking for a different kind of fun group activity? Timed Out Escape is now open in Torrington market shopping center in Ballantyne. Featuring two 60-minute and fully-immersive escape rooms, Timed Out Escape challenges participants to solve a series of puzzles to escape a mysterious abandoned police station and the risks of the Wild West. Culture Bites Pineville is Happening on August 9th
Culture Bites on August 9th in Pineville will feature tasty samples from diverse local restaurants and cultural performances including pop-up theatre, dance, visual art, interactive experiences, science and music of all varieties. Happening at Lake Park at Belle Johnson Lake park, admission to Culture Bites is free and open to all ages.
