On Monday, October 1st, the most awarded female artist in Grammy Awards history is heading to the McGlohon Theater stage to put on a performance for the intimate audience that is Music With Friends. This concert will provide an unprecedented opportunity to enjoy “up close & personal” one of the biggest names in music in the small-venue, acoustically fabulous space of McGlohon.
Alison Krauss has received 27 Grammy Awards (from 42 nominations), nine Country Music Association Awards, 14 international Bluegrass Music Association Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards, and two Gospel Music Association Awards. Music With Friends members and guests will celebrate her talent in what is sure to be an unbelievable show, because Alison Krauss is set to perform with a mix of artists from her Union Station band and other musicians who have shared the stage with acts like Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, BB King, Robert Plant, and more.
