Yinka Shonibare MBE: The American Library

Don’t miss your chance to experience this permanent, large-sale outdoor work by Yinka Shonibare MBE on the Davidson College campus. For context, the Galleries will present The American Library, an exhibition consisting of Shonibare’s project by the same name as well as related sculptures, photographs and a film.
BUG by Tracy Letts

Just in time for Halloween, this tale of mysterious love by Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts walks the fine line between haunting and comical. $20 general admission.

The donation-based Warrior Wine Down practice supports those fighting cancer through Carolina Breast Friends. After class, enjoy a craft beer and cava tasting for just $5.
Bella Love Presents: Open Mic

Kindred Spirits Art & Food Outing

Taste of the Lake 2018

Enjoy samples from various Lake Norman restaurants, silent and live auctions and more in the first combined fundraiser for the Lake Norman and Lowe’s YMCAs. $60 per person.
Chorale Concert: Otherworldly
Duke Family Performance Hall, Davidson | 7:30 – 9 p.m.
Director Christopher Gilliam leads Davidson College Choirs’s premier choral ensemble in their fall concert. Otherworldly: Music Fanciful, Magical, Mysterious, and Mystical will feature works by John Williams, Wolf, Orban, Berlioz, Boulanger. Attendees will also enjoy a performance by student-led groups After Hours Vocal Jazz and Davidson College Collegium Musicum Early Music Group. Free admission.

LKN’s Basin Run Relay presented by F3 LKN
D9 Brewing Company, Cornelius | 10 p.m.
The second Basin Run Relay challenges teams of 2 – 6 runners to work together overnight to complete a 70-mile route around the Lake. Participants will also enjoy a well-deserved pre-and post-party at D9 Brewing Company. Proceeds benefit Operation Sweet Tooth, Toys for Tots, and other community outreach projects of F3 Lake Norman.
